Hydrocolloid Patch

Description
    • Hydrocolloid, a hydrophilic polymer, absorbs exudates from wounds and keeps growth factors constantly to help recover wounds and protects wounds from external environments (water, dust, bacteria, etc.) without damaging the wounds.
    • It is excellent in flexibility and can be used without detachment even when attached to a bent part (elbow, knee, etc.).
    • It doesn’t fall off even when showering or dipping with high adhesive force.
    • It is economical because it can be cut and used as desired.
    • It quickly absorbs exudates that occur early in the wound with quick absorption and keeps the lesion clean.
How to Use
  • 1.
    Wash the wound thoroughly.
Attach the patch on the middle of the wound area and lightly press it to be well attached.
  • 2.
Adhered patch absorbs exudate and swells up.
(Do not take it off, give it to the wound!)
  • 3.
As the wound is being healed,
the whitened product begins to sink.
  • 4.
Slowly remove the patch from the edge.
Q&A
  • Q. The white color is coming up. Should I add new ones?
White is the exudate from the body when a wound occurs. The exudates are rich in growth factors that help restore the wound, and it is best to wait until the product is settled, as this exudate fades and helps the wound to heal, so do not get rid of it (yield the exudate to the wound).
  • Q. How much should I put?
Please stick about 2 ~ 3 days after attaching the patch(in general). However, when the patch is trying to peel off or the exudate reaches the end of the product, please replace it.
  • Q. Can I put it on the scar on which the scab has been placed?
The wet environment removes the scab by making it scratched, but it is undesirable for an old, hard, scabbard.
  • Q. Any side effects?
Some people have an allergic reaction to the hydrocolloid. In this case, all hydrocolloid products should be used with caution, and most of them may be colored by adhesive allergy or may be contact allergy regardless of ingredients.
  • Q. Can I use it for wounds with pus?
Wounds with pus may have more pus due to the wet environment. In this case, it should not be used.
